Our team focused on redesigning the MC CAB app to improve the experience for Monaco's taxi drivers. We worked closely with drivers to understand their unique challenges, like location-based restrictions and the status-driven system. Using their feedback, we developed a fair ride distribution algorithm and ensured the app was easy to use, even for older drivers. The updated app makes the drivers' work more efficient and hassle-free.

  • Smart Ride: Distribution Algorithm

    We created a smart ride distribution system to make things easier for Monaco’s taxi drivers. The system uses rules based on sectors, taxi stations, and driver status to assign rides fairly and efficiently. Rides are first sent to drivers near stations in the same sector, followed by free drivers and those finishing a trip during busy times. This ensures smooth ride assignments while following Monaco’s taxi rules. Drivers can also use the on-demand feature to see and accept nearby ride requests, giving them more flexibility and control.

  • Optimized Reservation Management

    We enhanced the reservation system in the MC CAB driver app to improve scheduling and efficiency for drivers. With this feature, drivers can receive and manage ride requests scheduled in advance, complete with all necessary details. This allows them to plan their routes and availability more effectively. By integrating this feature seamlessly into the app, we aimed to streamline the user experience for drivers, enabling better time management and ensuring a smoother workflow.

  • Improving Driver Profiles

    We developed the Driver Profile to give drivers a personalized space within the app, where they can easily share their name, photo, vehicle details, and certifications. The feature is designed for simplicity and allows drivers to quickly update their information. This enhancement improves user experience by ensuring drivers can manage their profiles efficiently while maintaining transparency and compliance with regulations.

Through Foodies, the team brought together UX/UI design, responsive web development, support & maintenance, server and cloud management, and custom product development into one multi-vendor marketplace. The result is a fully functional platform that enables the client to digitally manage multiple vendors under a single system. This project reflects our approach to building smart, modular marketplaces with clear experiences for every role and ongoing technical support throughout the platform’s lifecycle
